close your eyes…journey back…

do you have a special place or a “time” that when you reflect back it elicits warm feelings and a sense of you felt really safe? or even an event.. small or big..where you felt really good  …thinking about it makes you smile.

allow yourself to reminisce…journey back..immerse yourself in those thoughts…feel what you in that moment…those moments..

and know that you can always revisit…until you create new moments…

Very beautiful and poignant piece of writing. Sometimes all we can do to keep those blue days away is to escape in some way or another, whether by cleaning or writing or some other mechanism. As a kid I day-dreamed a lot, to escape the reality of my situation. My nose was always in a book, where I could escape to a different world.

Are you or someone you know suffering from depression? There are many symptoms of depression, some of which you are aware of, some you may not be.

I love my children unconditionally and with a fierceness that is almost irrational, but my husband loves them just as unconditionally and just as fiercely. And my own unconditional mama-bear love for my children did not come easily, but rather gradually and clumsily as I made my way out of the haze of post-partum depression.
